Newstead School, is situated in the London Borough of Bromley, the school conducts its examination process in a single on-site round. All applicants are invited to sit the school assessment, comprising of 2 papers consisting of Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning.

Admissions Criteria

The school offers 168 spaces for admission into Year 7. In the highly likely scenario where the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the available spots, the allocation of places follows this hierarchy:

1. Children in public care or children who have previously looked after.

2. Girls who's permanent place of residence is within a 9-mile radius of the school who are in receipt of pupil premium or service premium.

3. Girls whose a member of Newstead Wood staff who has been employed at the school for 2 or more years at the time of application.

Catchment

Girls who live within a 9-mile radius of the school are given priority.
