The Exam
The Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, located in the London Borough of Barnet, conducts its examination process in a single on-site round. All applicants are invited to take a GL assessment, which consists of two multiple-choice papers in English and Maths.

Admissions Criteria
The school offers 180 spaces for admission into Year 7. Candidates who achieve a combined score of 220 or higher are considered to have met the required standard, the lowest score in 2023 was 232.
Catchment
If two or more applicants achieve the same score, the allocation of places will be determined by the distance from the school to the child's home, measured in a straight line.
