The Exam

St Olave's Grammar School, is situated in the London Borough of Bromley, the school conducts its examination process in a two exam rounds, held on-site. All applicants invited to sit the school's Selective Eligibility Test (SET), comprising of Logic, Maths and English questions. The top 450 candidates are then called back for the second exam stage which consists of Maths and English.

Admissions Criteria

The school offers 124 spaces for admission into Year 7. In the highly likely scenario where the number of qualifying applicants exceeds the available spots, the allocation of places follows this hierarchy:

1. Children in public care or children who have previously looked after.

2. A maximum of 10 places will be available for boys in receipt of pupil premium by rank order.
