In the face of current challenges, this has led to a fundamental change in the way that we prepare children for the 11+ exam, with their safety and wellbeing at the forefront of everything that we do.
Our expert team have worked tirelessly to produce the best 11+ online mock exam platform available, completely exclusive to KSOL. To reflect the real life conditions of the 11+ exam, our online exams include a unique split-screen functionality. This will allow your child to view the question paper alongside a separate virtual answer sheet! We have also incorporated exclusive interactive exam technique functions that enable children to answer questions quickly and effectively. These functions include: elimination, highlighting and sketching-in.
Our brand NEW Virtual Invigilator Tool provides enhanced reporting on elements such as: Use of Exam Techniques; Time-management Skills (e.g. average time per section & evidence of guessing); Evidence of Mistakes (e.g. not following instructions correctly or multiple answers selected for same question). Never before has this level of analysis been possible with an online mock exam.
As this is an online mock exam, we are much more flexible in terms of when the exam should be taken. Your child can complete the exam at any point during the given time frame, so make sure that you choose a suitable 3-hour slot which works best for you and your child.
Please log your child back on, their exam will start from where they left off. They will not have been penalised for any time
No, it is not possible to move onto another exam section before the time ends. This is similar to the real exam. We recommend that children utilise any spare time to go back and check their answers in that section.
As in the real 11+ entrance exam, children are not allowed to go back to previous sections once the time has finished. Your child will be given time warnings towards the end of each section and the system will automatically move them on once it has finished.
We advise that your child has to hand several sharpened pencils, a rubber and notepad so that they can do any additional working out that is required, particularly in the maths sections of the exam.
Results will be released online within 5 working days, and you will be informed of when they are available by email. Results will appear on your parent dashboard under ‘History’, ‘Standard Exam Reports’.
If your booking included the 2 hour Comprehensive Post-exam Video Review & Virtual Online Invigilator Tool, this will appear on your parent dashboard alongside your child's results.
